Legacy mailing for
Saint Francis Hospice a success in so many ways.
Ha’penny Press (TTGB
Print & Direct Mail) recently worked on a Legacy Mailing for Saint Francis
Hospice. (A legacy is where you leave a gift in your will to an
organisation; like a Charity or Hospice).
The project firstly
involved close work between Susan; the ‘In Memoriam and Legacy Giving Executive’ at SFH and Norma
in our Studio. They worked together on the design of the leaflet,
envelope and letter. Once approved the three elements were then all printed
and enclosed at our facilities in Suffolk. Thousands of mail packs were
sent out in February and so far the Hospice have been happy with the level of enquiries
and support for this legacy campaign which highlights the importance of making
a will.
The Head of
Individual Giving David Holmes made this statement to Ha’penny Press ‘Thank
you for all of your help and assistance with the Legacy Mailing that went out
recently. We have had many people contact us as a result of the mailing.
A
leading Advertising & Marketing Critic Andrew Papworth has also covered the
mailing in his latest edition of the publication ‘harvest’ the article was titled
“A Legacy request that dares to use the ‘C-word’”. (He means Cash!!!)
His notable comments
are: “How satisfying it is, therefore, to be able to praise a mail shot which
breaks the mould”
“Interestingly, it
comes not from one of the big national charities but from a local one in the
London Borough of Havering bordering on Essex”
“Congratulations to
Saint Francis Hospice for bucking the trends and finding their own excellent
solution to the challenge of legacy promotion.”
This is huge recognition
for Saint Francis Hospice and I wish to pass on my gratitude to you too for all
of your assistance and support of our work.’
What a lovely end to
the week!!!
